Restored in the 1980s this old red barn was built by the Henry Van Sickle who operated a hotel and pony express station at the foot of the Old Kingsbury Grade near Genoa, Nevada.
Sitting on 45.27 acres between Elsner Road, Roy Rogers Road, and the Tualatin River, this old Oregon homestead was settled in the late 1800’s.
This shop building is part of a working hazelnut farm in Laurel, Oregon, just off Campbell Road. From its interesting shape and building materials, this old shop uses a traditional Dutch roof covered in corrugated sheet metal and built on concrete “cinder block” walls, which appear to be from the Read more…
